How does self-check-in work?
You’ve already made your reservation. Here’s what happens next until you have your room key in hand:
Step 1: Online Check-in & Payment
Around 5 days before your arrival, you will receive an email with a link to online check-in.
Complete the registration form (also for all accompanying guests) and pay any outstanding balance.
Alternatively, you can complete everything on site using the self-check-in tablet.
Step 2: Your Key Box Code
Around 1 day before your arrival, you will receive your personal key box code by email. The key box is located at reception.
From 3:00 pm (CET) on the day of arrival, you can use the code to collect your room key.
If you only complete the check-in on site, your code will be sent to you by email immediately afterwards. If you do not have internet access, the Wi-Fi login details are also available on site.

The code will only be sent once the booking, registration form and payment have been received in full.

Focus flow fitness

MATTER VALLEY REGION
Nestled between mighty four-thousand-metre peaks, the Matter Valley is, according to the Guinness World Records, the deepest valley in the Alps. Each village has its own unique charm: Stalden, the charming village of bridges; Grächen, with its winter sports; Randa, home to the longest suspension bridge in the Alps; and the car-free village of Jungen. You’ll find the most important links below.
Just a 10-minute walk from the hotel, you’ll reach the cable car to Jungen, a traditional mountain village far from the hustle and bustle. There, you’ll find lush alpine meadows, the picturesque Jungensee lake and a cosy mountain restaurant where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Just 7 km from St. Niklaus and easily reached by PostBus, Grächen enjoys a sunny location high above the Matter Valley. Car-free and peaceful, it is a paradise for hikers and bikers in summer and a ski resort in winter, set against an impressive backdrop of four-thousand-metre peaks.
Just an 8-minute drive from St. Niklaus, Randa is the starting point for one of the most spectacular hikes in the Alps. From there, a 2-hour hike takes you to the Charles Kuonen Suspension Bridge, the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in the Alps, offering breathtaking views deep into the valley below.
